A series of Hebrew, dedicatory blessing inscriptions, discovered at Kuntillet Ajrud (a Sinai way-station with an attached shrine) and Khirbet el-Qom (a bench tomb inscription) pair the goddess Asherah with Israel's god Yahweh.
